Frequently Asked Questions
What is the required attire?
It is important for a dancer to have full range of motion when coming to dance class. Instructors need to be able to correct technique and posture, so clothing should allow for that.
HAIR- Should be styled up, and out of dancers faces.
SHOES- Ages 2 ½ -5 wear black leather ballet shoes (available for purchase at studio)
Ages 6 & up wear both pink canvas ballet shoes as well as treads (available for purchase at studio)
CLOTHING- Leotards, tights, leggings, biker shorts, unitard, fitted tank top etc. We do not allow bra tops, crop tops, or street clothing at our studio.
When can my child start dancing?
To begin a combo class, your child must be at least age 2 1/2 . We adore working with little girls at our studio. They bring such a light to our environment.
When should my dancer begin company?
We require dancers to be at least age 4 to begin company. We recommend starting young so your dancer can improve at an accelerated rate, and be ready to audition for highschool and/or college teams when they get older. Dancing takes practice and sacrifice, but it is always worth it. Company teams help dancers learn responsibility and discipline. They make new friends and develop a sense of importance and belonging.
Can my dancer get private training?
We offer private training in every genre of dance. This tool is used to help a dancer get ready for a placement or tryout, solo work, or to improve on specific skills.
